There is so much that needs to be done when starting a small business. Apart from the business itself there are the accounts to consider, tax returns, VAT, cash flow, marketing and social media. With so much to do, it can be overwhelming.
You recognize the need to have a website but know very little about it. What you need is someone you can trust who can advise and guide you through the technical minefield.
This is where I hope I can help by trying to explain some of the things you need to do and to consider. At least then when you talk to a web designer or developer you know what questions to ask.

Jargon free
There is way too much jargon in the IT industry and some developers will try and bamboozle you with it. I keep the jargon to an absolute minimum and will explain it to you where necessary. Leave the technical stuff to me but feel free at any time to question me on it.
I only build websites using modern and popular technologies so that any competent developer you might use in the future won’t have to start from scratch.
